Harewood House near Leeds was designed by John Carr and Robert Adam for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood. Adam designed the interiors and made minor exterior changes, and Capability Brown designed the landscape. The infobox gives 1759 to 1771. The text agrees on the span but says the house was largely complete by 1765.

The article calls the style Palladian. It names no materials and gives no house dimensions. The estate covers about 1,000 acres (400 hectares), and the gardens cover more than 100 acres (40 hectares).

Sir Charles Barry expanded the house in the 1840s, and Princess Mary moved in permanently in 1929. It was a convalescent hospital in World War II, was listed Grade I in 1960 and appeared in Downton Abbey in 2018. It is the Lascelles family seat, run by the Harewood House Trust and open most of the year. The article gives no hours.
