The Haas House stands on Stock-im-Eisen-Platz in Vienna, directly across from the Stephansdom. Hans Hollein designed it and it was completed in 1990. The article calls the style postmodernist. It gives no client, construction dates or materials.

The site was home to the Philipp Haas & Söhne department store from 1867, which was destroyed in the Second World War and rebuilt in 1953. The new building has retail and restaurant use. Do & Co bought it from Uniqa in December 2014 and uses it as its headquarters. The name comes from that department store, and the article gives no building dimensions.

The article calls it controversial because of its contrast with the adjacent cathedral, the cathedral next door.
