The Guanyin of Nanshan is a statue of the bodhisattva Guanyin on the south coast of Hainan Island, in Sanya. It stands on top of the Nanshan Temple. Construction took six years. It was enshrined on April 24, 2005, with 108 monks from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and mainland China, and tens of thousands of pilgrims.

The statue is 354 feet (108 meters) tall including its pedestal, and 256 feet (78 meters) without it. By comparison, the Statue of Liberty is 305 feet (93 meters) with its pedestal. Guanyin has three aspects. One faces inland, and two face the South China Sea.

One aspect holds a sutra, another holds prayer beads, and the third holds a lotus. The aspects stand for benevolence, peace and wisdom. The sources give no designer, client or materials, so those entries, the style and the access details are assumptions.
