The Gropius House in Lincoln, Massachusetts, was designed by Walter Gropius with Marcel Breuer, who did not take credit, for the Gropius family. The infobox says built in 1938, the lead says 1938 to 1939, and the body says work began in March 1938 and finished in September 1938.
The article calls the style Modern, Bauhaus-influenced and blended with New England traditions. It has a balloon wood frame of Douglas fir and yellow pine on a stone foundation, clad in vertical white-painted redwood planks. It has two stories and about 2,300 square feet (214 m²).
Ise Gropius donated it to SPNEA by 1975. It became a National Historic Landmark in 2000. Historic New England has run it as a house museum since 1985, and the article gives no visiting hours.
