The Grand Ring on Yumeshima in Osaka was designed by Sou Fujimoto for Expo 2025 and built from 2023 to 2025. The article names no client or style and gives no opening date. It lists floor area as 61,035.55 square meters and height as 20 meters, and Guinness lists it as the largest wooden architectural structure.

About 70 percent of the timber is Japanese cedar and cypress, and about 30 percent is imported Scots pine. The ring uses nuki joinery with modern building technology. A 2,025-meter Skywalk runs on top, reached by five escalators and six elevators.

It was planned for demolition after the Expo. Proposals followed to keep 200 meters of the northern ring and 600 meters of the southern part. In December 2025 Fujimoto said most of the ring would be dismantled and burned as fuel.
