Goshavank in Armenia was built by Mkhitar the Carpenter and his disciple Hovhannes on the site of Nor Getik, which an earthquake destroyed in 1188. Mkhitar Gosh helped rebuild it but is not named as an architect. The article names no single client. Prince Grigor-Tkha finished St. Gregory the Illuminator Church in 1241, and patrons Dasapet and Karapet completed the bell tower top in 1291.

The infobox gives the 12th or 13th century. The text dates St. Astvatsatsin Church to 1191 to 1196, the gavit to 1197 to 1203 and the bell tower and book depository to 1241 to 1291. The article calls the style Armenian and the material stone, with carved khachkars. It gives no dimensions.

Mkhitar Gosh founded a school there, and its alumnus Kirakos Gandzaketsi wrote The History of Armenia. The complex belongs to the Armenian Apostolic Church and is in relatively good condition, though the school building is in ruins. The article gives no hours.
