Glasgow Science Centre stands at 50 Pacific Quay on the south bank of the Clyde, on the former Prince's Dock. BDP designed the main building and Richard Horden designed the Glasgow Tower. Queen Elizabeth II opened it on July 5, 2001. A Scottish charity, Glasgow Science Centre Ltd, owns it. The article names no style.

The total cost was about £75 million, including about £10 million for the tower and over £37 million from the Millennium Commission. The curved Science Mall is described as the hull of a ship, and its roof is stainless steel. Titanium clads the IMAX, which has a 24 by 18 meter screen. The planetarium dome is 15 meters across.

The Glasgow Tower was designed to rotate freely, and was closed from August 2010 to July 2014. It had 330,536 visitors in 2024. The article gives no hours.
