The Gershwin Theatre is a Broadway house at 222 West 51st Street in Midtown Manhattan. It is on the second floor of Paramount Plaza, which was designed by Emery Roth and Sons. The theater was designed by Ralph Alswang and built by the Uris Buildings Corporation in exchange for extra office floor area. It was dedicated on 19 November 1972 and renamed the Gershwin in 1983.

Alswang described the decor as Art Nouveau. The theater holds about 1,933 people, with roughly 1,300 seats in the orchestra and 600 on the mezzanine. Its proscenium is 65 feet wide. Its computerized rigging made it the first fully automated commercial theater in the United States.

Early long runs included The King and I in 1977 and Annie in 1981. Wicked has played here since October 2003.
