The Friedrichswerder Church in Berlin's Mitte district was built from 1824 to 1831 under Karl Friedrich Schinkel and is called the first Neo-Gothic church built in Berlin. It is brick. The infobox also lists Jean de Bodt for a first building of 1699 to 1701, which the text does not mention, and the article does not explain how the two relate.
Notable features are its vaulting system, a gallery staircase and sculptures by Schadow and others. An 1834 painting by Eduard Gaertner records the view from the top. The article gives no dimensions.
It now serves as a museum within the Berlin State Museums, showing 19th-century German sculpture and an upper-floor exhibition on Schinkel. The church closed in late 2012 because nearby construction caused structural damage, and restoration was finished in early October 2019.
