The Milan venue of Fondazione Prada is on Largo Isarco in southern Milan, designed by OMA under Rem Koolhaas. It was unveiled on May 9, 2015. The complex is a converted distillery from the 1910s, and three new structures, Podium, Cinema and Torre, join the existing buildings. The article gives no construction dates, style or owner.
The gross area is 19,000 square meters, with 11,000 square meters for exhibitions. The Haunted House, a four-story building clad in 24-karat gold foil, shows the permanent collection. A bar designed by Wes Anderson recalls old Milan cafés, and students from the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Versailles designed a children's area.
The foundation has been co-chaired by Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli since 1995. Besides exhibitions it runs a cinema. The foundation's earlier Venice space, Ca' Corner della Regina, opened in 2011. The article gives no hours.
