The Fittja Mosque stands in Fittja, in Botkyrka Municipality, south of Stockholm. It was built for the Islamic Cultural Association in Botkyrka, a mainly Turkish association with more than 1,500 members. Groundbreaking took place in 1998, and the mosque was completed in April 2007.

The mosque is in the Turkish style. It has a single minaret 107 feet (32.5 meters) tall and a windowed dome lined with birch wood panels. Hand-painted tiles cover the walls of the prayer room, and a women's prayer area stands on a raised platform of 200 square meters. The building also holds a residence for the imam.

In 2013 the association received a time-limited police permit to broadcast the call to prayer. On 26 April 2013 the imam gave the first live call from a minaret in Sweden.
