The Federal Territory Mosque in Kuala Lumpur was built by the Malaysian Government as the 44th such mosque within city limits. Groundbreaking was in 1998, and it was completed in 2000. It opened to the public on October 25, 2000, and the 12th Yang di-Pertuan Agong officiated on February 18, 2005. The article names no architect.

The design blends Ottoman and Malay styles and was heavily influenced by Istanbul's Blue Mosque. It has 22 domes made of glass fiber fabric and epoxy resin, chosen for durability and light weight, and two minarets. The site covers 12 acres (5 hectares), and the mosque holds 17,000 worshippers.

The infobox gives its address as Jalan Duta, while the body places it off Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, with the site along Jalan Duta. It is an active Sunni mosque.
