The Ennis House in Los Feliz was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Charles and Mabel Ennis, retired businesspeople whose trade the sources disagree on. His son Lloyd supervised construction, with Rudolph Schindler assisting. The infobox says built 1924, the lead says completed 1925, and the text gives August 1925 for the main house.
The infobox lists Mayan Revival and Textile Block, and the text says Mayan Revival is sometimes applied. The article cites between 24,000 and 45,000 concrete textile blocks, cast from site granite, sand and gravel. The main house is about 6,000 square feet (560 m²), and the loggia is 100 feet (30 m) long.
The Ennises lived there until 1936. Ron Burkle bought it in 2011 and sold it in 2019 for $18 million. It is privately owned, and a public-access easement requires viewing at least 12 days a year. It has been a Los Angeles landmark since 1976.
