The architecture program at Dunwoody College of Technology is housed in the college's main building at 818 Dunwoody Boulevard in Minneapolis. The program's 2019 annual report says the college committed 8,000 square feet (743 square meters) of studio and classroom space to it, on the east side of the building's Red level. The report says the space was renovated in the summer of 2017.
The program uses the Red, Green and Blue levels. A Unified Studio of 4,000 square feet (372 square meters) on the Red level holds 180 workstations. The Green level has a 1,500-square-foot (139-square-meter) digital fabrication lab with two laser cutters, a 3D printer and two CNC routers, plus a materials lab and a shared testing lab and woodshop.
The Blue level holds a 2,500-square-foot (232-square-meter) materials library. A 2023 plan in the report would replace the Unified Studio with a 12,000-square-foot (1,115-square-meter) space with 300 workstations.
