The Digital Beijing Building in Beijing was designed by Pei Zhu, chosen from eight competitors in 2004. Construction began in 2005, and it opened on November 3, 2007. The Beijing Municipal Informatization Office had called for a landmark building to serve as the main data center for the 2008 Olympics. The article names no style.

It is 187 feet (57 m) tall with 11 floors and 98,000 square meters (1.05 million sq ft) of floor area. Four slabs of varying thickness are linked by pedestrian bridges. The west face is windowless, with vertical grooves that resemble a circuit board. Materials include dark stone, aluminum sheets made to look like stone, and a glass curtain wall.

Green LEDs blink down the east facade at night. Since the Games, it has served as a museum of the Digital Olympics and as exhibition space for technology companies.
