De Rotterdam is a vertical city on the Wilhelminapier in Kop van Zuid, between the KPN Tower and the Cruise Terminal. OMA designed it in 1998, and the article links the design to Rem Koolhaas. Construction began in 2009, and the building was finished on November 15, 2013, when the municipality received the keys. Deka Immobilien owns it and Edge developed it.

Three towers, West, Mid and East, rise from a six-floor glass plinth, shifted a few meters at about 295 feet (90 m) and joined in places to simplify structure and cut cost. It is 495 feet (151.3 m) tall with 45 floors and about 160,000 square meters, which the article calls the largest building in the Netherlands.

It holds 240 apartments, 72,000 square meters of offices, a 285-room hotel, shops, cafés and fitness space. About 5,000 people use it daily. The article gives no hours.
