The School of Constructed Environments at Parsons has its design studios on the second and third floors of 25 East 13th Street in Manhattan. The school was formed in 2008 and brought together architecture, interior design, lighting design and product design.
The studios were redesigned and built by students in a 2009 Design Workshop, working with a client group of faculty, administrators and alumni. The project completely renovated the school's studios.
Its stated aim was to rethink the nature of the design studio in the twenty-first century, using the two floors as a testing ground. The sources read do not give the size of the space or name a professional architect.
