The PwC Tower at Commercial Bay in Auckland was designed by Woods Bagot in association with Warren and Mahoney. Precinct Properties developed it. Construction began in mid-2016 with the demolition of the Downtown Shopping Centre, and it topped out in June 2019. The retail precinct opened on June 11, 2020, and the article gives July 27, 2020 for the official opening. The article calls the style modern.

The tower has 41 floors and stands 180.1 meters (591 feet). It is New Zealand's tallest building and Auckland's second-tallest structure after the Sky Tower. The project cost more than NZ$1 billion. Its basement is stepped around the City Rail Link tunnels, and loads are carried across the tunnels by a transfer system. The lift core sits on the external face.

Rising costs, extension claims and the COVID-19 lockdown caused delays.
