The Cinémathèque Française occupies a building at 51 rue de Bercy in Paris's 12th arrondissement, just outside the Parc de Bercy. Frank Gehry designed it, and the article calls it a postmodern building. The institution moved there in 2005 after several relocations and a fire at its last premises. Its Palais de Chaillot and Grands Boulevards sites closed on February 28, 2005.

The article gives no construction dates, materials or dimensions, and no client or owner. It says the new site opened to the public on September 28.

The building offers daily film screenings. It also houses the Musée de la cinémathèque, formerly the Musée du cinéma Henri-Langlois. The article gives no hours or admission.
