The Church of St. George stands about one mile (2 kilometers) from the village of Kurbinovo in Resen Municipality, North Macedonia. It belongs to the Macedonian Orthodox Church. The building is estimated to date from 1185 to 1190, and an inscription gives April 25, 1191 as the start of the frescoes. The frescoes are Byzantine, from the late Komnenian period of the Macedonian Renaissance.
The church is small and has no aisles. It is about 49 by 23 feet (15 by 7 meters), with a rectangular nave, a semicircular apse, a gable roof and a monolithic altar. Frescoes cover the interior and exterior.
A damaged donor portrait is assumed to show Isaac II Angelos and his wife. The surrounding settlement was abandoned in the late eighteenth century. A restoration in 1847 made harmful changes, and a conservation project in 1958 restored the paintings. It was added to North Macedonia's tentative World Heritage list in 2020.
