The Church of Christ the Worker and Our Lady of Lourdes in Estación Atlántida was designed by the engineer Eladio Dieste in 1958 and consecrated in 1960. The infobox lists the style as Modernist, and the article places it among mid-20th-century modern architecture in Latin America. It is a simple rectangle whose side walls rise in undulating curves, carrying an undulating roof of reinforced brick Gaussian vaults. It is exposed brick throughout.

A cylindrical bell tower of openwork brick rises beside the main facade. The baptistery is underground, on the left side of the parvis, with a triangular prismatic entrance and a central oculus for light. The article gives no dimensions.

UNESCO inscribed the work of Dieste, including this church, in 2021. It remains an active Roman Catholic parish church.
