China World Trade Center Tower III is the third phase of the China World Trade Center in Beijing's Chaoyang business district. Skidmore, Owings and Merrill designed it, and Arup was the structural engineer. Groundbreaking was on March 25, 2003, the tower topped out on October 29, 2007, and it opened on November 23, 2008. It was completed in 2010 and rises 1,083 feet (330 m).

Offices fill the lower floors, and a five-star hotel with 278 rooms begins on floor 64. A restaurant and observation deck sit on floors 79 to 81. The tower has about 3 million square feet (280,000 m²) of floor area and a 1,600-seat ballroom.

Four Schindler 7000 elevators reach the hotel lobby at up to 33 feet (10 m) per second. In 2010 it was the world's tallest building with a rooftop helipad.
