The Château de Villesavin in the Loire Valley was built for Jean le Breton, financial secretary to François I, from 1527 to 1537. The infobox names Domenico da Cortona as architect, but the text names no individual and credits the same Italian and French masters who worked at Chambord, including Benvenuto Cellini. The style is French Renaissance.
The plan is a horseshoe-shaped main house with two single-story wings. Dormers framed by volutes and pilasters carry François I's emblem, and square corner pavilions replace round towers. A moat crosses the rear, and a spiral staircase is said to be inspired by Chambord.
It was abandoned before the Count and Countess de Sparre bought it in 1937. It has been open to the public since 1954 and is privately owned. A wedding museum opened in 2000, and weddings are held every weekend from April to November. The article gives no hours.
