Château de Sully-sur-Loire has no named architect in the article. Guy de La Trémoille began the keep in 1395, and his wife Marie finished it. Maximilien de Béthune bought the estate in 1602. The page has no infobox. The text dates the Tour de Béthune to 1440 but also says Maximilien reused ruins of a 1363 tower for it.
It was a fortified castle later converted to a palatial residence, in sandstone with slate roofs. The keep measures 128 by 52 feet (39 by 16 m), and the garden covers 25 hectares (62 acres).
A 1918 fire destroyed the Louis XV wing, and the château was listed in 1928. The Loiret council bought it in 1962 and restored much of it. It is open to the public, and a classical music festival runs each June. The article gives no hours.
