The Center for the Built Environment and Infrastructure Studies, known as CBEIS, opened in July 2012 at Morgan State University in Baltimore. Hord Coplan Macht designed it in collaboration with the Freelon Group. Construction began in 2010. The building has 126,000 square feet (11,700 square meters) and is LEED Gold.

It houses the School of Architecture and Planning, the Department of Civil Engineering and the Institute of Transportation Studies, which the architects meant as an exchange of people, ideas and departments. It holds 32 classrooms, labs and seminar rooms and 88 offices.

A skylit atrium runs the length of the building as an internal street, with a cafe, lounges and display space. Shading devices cover the main facade. AIA Maryland named it Public Building of the Year on September 12, 2013.

This building has no Wikipedia article. Facts come from Hord Coplan Macht, Morgan State University, ARCHITECT.
