The Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God, also known as Our Lady of Seven Wounds, stands on the northern side of Vartanants Square in Gyumri, Armenia. It is the seat of the Diocese of Shirak of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Groundbreaking was in 1873 and it was completed in 1884.

The church is cruciform, with an external rectangular shape. A belfry stands above the main entrance on the western side. A large central dome is surrounded by two minor domes. The altar has multi-iconic decoration, which the source describes as unique among Armenian churches.

The church remained active during the Soviet years. The 1988 Armenian earthquake caused the two minor domes to fall. They were replaced with new ones, and the originals are now in the churchyard.
