Casa Vicens in Barcelona's Gràcia district was designed by Antoni Gaudí for Manuel Vicens i Montaner, a stock and currency broker. The main text dates construction to 1883 to 1885, with the plans signed in January 1883. Some sources give 1888, but no documents confirm it. The article calls it an early landmark of oriental-inspired Modernism.

Masonry walls alternate with rows of 15 cm ceramic tiles, with exposed brick, Arabic roof tiles and a cast iron gate with a palmetto-leaf design. The smoking room has a muqarnas ceiling. The house is 56 feet (17 m) high, and the original site is given as 1,035 square meters in one place and 983 in another.

Dr. Antonio Jover Puig bought it in 1899. Joan Baptista Serra extended it in 1925 to 1927, and the garden was partly sold from 1946. UNESCO listed it in 2005. A restoration from 2015 to 2017 preceded its opening as a house museum on November 16, 2017.
