The Casa Rosada, or Casa de Gobierno, takes up nearly a full block in Buenos Aires and is the president's official workplace. It joins two buildings: the Post Office by Carl Kihlberg, ordered in 1873, and a Government House by Henrik Åberg, commissioned in 1882. Francesco Tamburini unified them, and the text dates his central archway to 1884 and the inauguration to 1898.

The infobox gives Government House as 1882 to 1886 and the unification as 1886 to 1898, which conflicts with the text. It calls the style Italianate-Eclectic, and the text adds an 1825 Neoclassical portico and Second Empire details. Accounts of the pink color conflict, citing either mixed political colors or cow's blood.

The 1594 fort was rebuilt as Castillo San Miguel in 1713 to 1720. A museum opened in 1957 and a renovation began in 2006. It is a National Historic Monument, but the article gives no visiting details.
