Carhenge is a car sculpture near Alliance, Nebraska. Jim Reinders conceived it in 1982 as a memorial to his father and built it in 1987. It was dedicated at the June 1987 summer solstice. The article does not name a commissioner.

The work consists of 39 vintage American cars set in a circle about 96 feet (29 meters) across. The cars are covered in gray spray paint, and some stand in pits 5 feet (1.5 meters) deep.

A 1962 Cadillac serves as the heelstone. A visitor center was added in 2006. The article describes the 39 cars as vintage American cars. Reinders conceived the project in 1982 and dedicated it five years later, on the summer solstice.
