The CAPLA West Building, also called Architecture West, is part of the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture at the University of Arizona in Tucson. The college's timeline dates the building to 1958. A third floor came in 1965, and the central courtyard was enclosed in 1969. The CAPLA West Student and Alumni Center opened in 2010.

A yearlong renovation designed by Richärd | Kennedy Architects and built by CORE Construction ended with a reopening celebration on March 2, 2023. The campaign document gave studio space of 9,295 square feet (864 square meters) before the work and 11,942 square feet (1,109 square meters) after it.

Campaign plans included roof openings that bring in sunlight from the south and north, a thermally broken curtain wall with high-performance glazing, and operable windows for natural ventilation for up to 30 percent of the year, by preliminary modeling.
