CaixaForum Madrid is a cultural center on the Paseo del Prado, converted from a power station by Herzog & de Meuron. The old building, called Central Del Mediodía, dates from the 1900s. Ferrovial built the new work between 2001 and 2007, and the center opened in 2008. The article names no style, materials or dimensions.

The client is Fundación la Caixa, a not-for-profit banking foundation. The center hosts temporary art exhibitions and cultural events, including a show titled The Thinker. A central stairway appears in the article's photos, and one caption shows Pierre de Wissant from Rodin's The Burghers of Calais.

The adjoining square has a well-known vertical garden by Patrick Blanc. The article gives no hours or admission, and it does not name the architect of the original power station.
