Buffalo City Hall was designed by George J. Dietel and John Wade of Dietel, Wade & Jones for the City of Buffalo, with Sullivan W. Jones consulting on tall structures. Construction ran from September 16, 1929 to November 10, 1931, and it was dedicated on July 1, 1932. The infobox says built 1930.
The style is Art Deco, which Wade called Americanesque. The building is 398 feet (121 m) tall with 32 stories, faced in Ohio sandstone and gray Minnesota limestone on a granite base, with polychrome terra cotta near the top. The lobby vault is by Rafael Guastavino, with murals by William de Leftwich Dodge. It has 1,520 windows that open inward.
It is listed on the National Register and sits in the Joseph Ellicott Historic District. It remains the seat of city government. The 28th-floor observation deck and a one-hour guided tour are free on weekdays. The article gives no other hours.
