Buckfast Abbey in Devon was designed by Frederick Arthur Walters in Norman Transitional and Early English styles. French Benedictines bought the site in 1882 and refounded the monastery. The church revives the late 12th-century style and was built largely on the footprint of the former Cistercian church.
The introduction says work began in 1907, while the history section says 1906 to 1938. The infobox gives completion in 1937 and the introduction 1938. It was consecrated on August 25, 1932. The tower holds fifteen bells, including a 7.5-ton bourdon bell, and the organ has 5,537 pipes. The text does not name the building stone.
A medieval abbot's tower survives in the guesthouse, and a 1968 chapel has dalle de verre glass. The abbey has a restaurant, bookshop and conference centre. Tours are offered, but the article gives no hours.
