Børsen in Copenhagen was designed by Lorenz van Steenwinckel, who died soon after starting, and his brother Hans van Steenwinckel the Younger, for Christian IV. The infobox gives 1619 to 1640, while the text says work began in 1620, was largely finished by 1624, and added the spire in 1625 and east gable details in 1640.
The article calls the style Dutch Renaissance. It was mostly wood with a copper roof. It is about 420 feet (128 m) long and 69 feet (21 m) wide, and the spire is 184 feet (56 m) tall.
A fire during roof renovation on April 16, 2024 destroyed about half the building and collapsed the spire, with no casualties. Reconstruction began in September 2024 with handmade red bricks, pine timber and recycled copper, and completion is projected for 2029. It is the headquarters of the Danish Chamber of Commerce. The article gives no visiting details.
