Bodegas Ysios is a winery at Camino de La Hoya in Laguardia, in the Rioja Alavesa region of Spain. Santiago Calatrava designed it for the Bodega & Bebidas Group, and it was completed in 2000. It sits in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria, and its form reflects the surrounding peaks.
The winery has 15,384 square meters (about 165,600 square feet) of total area, with 8,000 square meters (86,100 square feet) built up. The site covers 72,000 square meters (about 775,000 square feet). The site slopes by up to 10 meters (33 feet), from the north down to the south, and about half of it is vineyard.
Archiweb describes the winery as a site-specific sculpture, integrated into the landscape while staying somewhat autonomous. Its roof and walls receive a volumetric treatment. The continuity between inside and outside comes from the static movement of the enclosures.
