Bloomberg London at 3 Queen Victoria Street, on the former Bucklersbury House site, was designed by Foster and Partners, with AKT II as structural engineer and Sir Robert McAlpine as contractor. Bloomberg L.P. owns it as its European headquarters. It opened in October 2017 at a cost of 1 billion pounds. The article names no style.
The cladding uses 9,600 tonnes of Derbyshire sandstone with bronze ventilation fins. Two buildings are linked by bridges and divided by a covered arcade with restaurants. A central helical bronze ramp runs 210 meters, and the building holds 4,000 staff.
The London Mithraeum, a Roman temple, lies beneath the site and is open to the public. It won the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2018.
