Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park lies between Bishan Road and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 in Singapore. The Housing and Development Board created the original park in 1988 in two stages at a cost of 8.5 million Singapore dollars. PUB, the national water agency, and the National Parks Board commissioned the redevelopment, which was designed from 2007 to 2010 and built from 2009 to 2012.

Tobias Baur, Rudolf Mager, Leonard Ng and Hendrik Porst led the project management and design. Peter Geitz und Partner did the bioengineering, and Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl and CH2M ran evaluation workshops. The redevelopment cost 76 million Singapore dollars.

The key change turned the Kallang River from a concrete channel into a meandering, natural river with a flat riverbed. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong opened it on March 17, 2012, and the park took its present name then. Features include a football field, a floating amphitheater and a natural pond.
