The Binoculars Building at 340 Main Street in Venice, Los Angeles, was designed by Frank Gehry for the advertising agency Chiat/Day. It was built in 1991, delayed a few years after hazardous materials were found on the site and had to be removed. The article calls the style postmodern and gives no materials.

It has 75,000 square feet. Giant Binoculars, a 1991 sculpture by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, fills the street-facing facade. The sculpture spans a car entrance and a pedestrian entrance, with the parking garage entrance between the two telescopes.

Google leased the building in 2011 and added two neighboring buildings in a major expansion. W. P. Carey & Co. owns it.
