The Bellevue Arts Museum at 510 Bellevue Way NE was designed by Steven Holl. The three-story building opened in 2001, when the museum began programming there. The article gives no construction dates, materials or style.

It stands across from Bellevue Square. Financial difficulties forced the museum to close to the public in September 2003. It reopened on June 18, 2005 after a 3 million dollar fundraising campaign and a major interior remodel.

Locals credit the museum with helping change downtown Bellevue from suburban strip malls into a city with more cultural attractions. In October 2025 the museum announced it would sell the building and land to the KidsQuest Children's Museum.
