Beauvais Cathedral was begun in 1225 by Count-bishop Milo of Nanteuil, whose family funded it, with Enguerrand Le Riche and Martin Chambiges as architects. The choir was completed in 1272, the transept in 1548 and the tower in 1569. Nave work began in 1600, but only one arch was built, so the infobox lists it as incomplete.
The article calls the style High Gothic. It mentions lead roof tiles, stained glass and carved wooden doors, and does not specify the stone. It is 238 feet (72.5 m) long and 220 feet (67.2 m) wide. The infobox gives a nave height of 156 feet (47.5 m), while the text gives the choir vault as both 48.5 and 47.5 m.
The choir vaulting collapsed in 1284, and the tower and crossing vaults collapsed in 1573. It is an active Catholic cathedral. Restoration began in 2022 and was unfinished as of 2026. The article gives no hours.
