The Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth was designed by Giovanni Muzio, and the infobox and text agree. The article names no client but says it remains under Franciscan control. The Israeli firm Solel Boneh built it, with Shlomo Lopatin as chief engineer. The infobox says it was completed and consecrated in 1969. The text says the old church was demolished in 1954, a cited source says 1955, and the new basilica was built from 1960 to 1969. It also says Pope Paul VI celebrated Mass in the new church in 1964.

The article says it is sometimes characterized as Italian Brutalism, and it names no materials. The outer dome height is 180 feet (55 m), per the infobox. It is a two-story building.

It has minor basilica status, and Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass there on March 25, 2000. The article describes it as the largest Christian church building in the Middle East. It gives no hours.
