The Bandra–Worli Sea Link crosses Mahim Bay in Mumbai, India, between Bandra and Worli. Akash Banerjee designed it. Hindustan Construction Company was the contractor, and Dar Al-Handasah's UK offices managed the project. The Government of Maharashtra commissioned it through MSRDC. Construction began in 2000.

The first four lanes opened on June 30, 2009, and all eight opened on March 24, 2010. The bridge is cable-stayed, with two main spans of 820 feet (250 meters) each. Its total length is 3.5 miles (5.6 kilometers).

It uses concrete and steel, with precast segmental viaducts. Seismic arresters and protective buoys around the pylons are among its safety features. The article does not name an architectural style.
