Ballymoon Castle is a ruin two miles east of Bagenalstown in County Carlow, Ireland. It is a National Monument. It was built around 1290 to 1310, though it is generally dated to the 13th or early 14th century. Much of its history is lost. It is thought to have been built either by Roger Bigod, 5th Earl of Norfolk, or by the Carew family, who acquired the land after Bigod died without issue.

The castle has a square courtyard about 80 feet on each side. Its granite walls are about 20 feet high and roughly 8 feet thick at the base. A large double fireplace on the north side belonged to the great hall. The west wall has an arched gateway with portcullis grooves.

Remnants of two-storey structures against the inner walls have led to speculation that the castle was never completed.
