The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, formerly the Arkansas Arts Center, stands in MacArthur Park in Little Rock. It opened on October 5, 1937, in a limestone Art Deco building by H. Ray Burks, built by the Works Progress Administration. Studio Gang and the landscape architect SCAPE were chosen in 2016 for a renovation and expansion, which finished in April 2023 at $142 million. The city of Little Rock owns the museum.

The central addition is a curving concrete structure with a folded-plate roof. New north and south entrances were added, and the restored Art Deco facade is the main entrance. The museum grew into eight structures over the decades.

The collection focuses on drawings and contemporary craft, and includes Paul Signac drawings and watercolors. It has a research library, a restaurant, a children's theatre and a museum school. Over 155,000 visitors from 18 countries came in the first year after the renovation.
