The 1900 Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix was designed by James Riely Gordon, chosen through a design contest, with Tom Lovell of Denton, Texas as contractor. The article lists the State of Arizona as owner. The infobox gives an inauguration of February 24, 1901. The text says ground broke in March 1899, the building was turned over on May 1, 1900 and the legislature met there on January 21, 1901.

The article calls the style Neoclassical and Beaux-Arts. It uses tufa stone, malapai, granite and copper. It says the dome is copper but elsewhere says a lead-alloy top replaced Gordon's dome. At 92 feet (28 m) it was listed as the tallest building in Phoenix from 1900 to 1924.

The legislature used it until 1960 and the governor's office until 1974. It became a museum and was listed on the National Register on October 29, 1974. The article gives no hours.
