Aria Resort & Casino at 3730 South Las Vegas Boulevard is the primary property of CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip. Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects designed it, with César Pelli involved. It began as a joint venture of MGM and Dubai World. Blackstone bought it in 2021, and MGM Resorts operates it. Construction began on June 25, 2006, and it opened on December 16, 2009. The article names no style, only two curved glass towers with no overarching theme.
The main tower has 50 stories and the second is ten stories shorter. The hotel has 4,004 rooms, including 568 suites, and the casino has 150,000 square feet of gaming space. The resort holds LEED Gold certification.
Art installations include works by Maya Lin, Jenny Holzer, Tony Cragg and Antony Gormley. Cirque du Soleil staged Viva Elvis and Zarkana here.
