Arcosanti in central Arizona was designed by Paolo Soleri for the Cosanti Foundation, a nonprofit. Construction began in 1970 and continued at a varying pace, and the last building was finished in 1989. The original 1969 plan was for 1,500 residents, raised to 5,000 in 1976. The page has no infobox, so no dates conflict.

The article describes an arcology, with apses, barrel vaults and south-facing buildings. It uses tilt-up concrete cast in local silt, plus bronze. Twenty-five acres (10 hectares) are developed within a 4,060-acre (1,643 hectare) preserve, with 13 major structures.

A 1978 festival fire damaged or destroyed over 180 cars. Soleri retired in 2011, workshops ended in 2024 and about 80 percent of staff were laid off in 2025. Bronze bell sales fund the site, and limited maintenance, guided tours and overnight stays continue. The article gives no hours or ticket prices.
