Admont Abbey is a Benedictine monastery on the Enns River in Styria. Archbishop Gebhard of Salzburg founded it in 1074 on land left by Hemma of Gurk. A fire on April 27, 1865 destroyed almost the entire monastery, though the library was saved. Reconstruction began the next year and was still incomplete in 1890. The article names the Baroque style for the abbey's architecture, art and manuscripts.

Wilhelm Bücher designed the church that replaced the one lost in the fire, and its two west towers are 220 feet (67 m) tall. Joseph Hueber designed the library hall in 1776. It is 230 feet (70 m) long, 46 feet (14 m) wide and 43 feet (13 m) high, with seven cupolas frescoed by Bartolomeo Altomonte.

The library holds about 70,000 of the monastery's 200,000 volumes, with over 1,400 manuscripts. The Nazi government dissolved the monastery, and the monks returned in 1946. Twenty-six monks lived there in July 2025.
