Aberystwyth Arts Centre sits on the Penglais campus of Aberystwyth University. Dale Owen of the Percy Thomas Partnership designed the Great Hall, which opened in 1970. The theatre followed in autumn 1972. Peter Roberts led a redevelopment that opened in April 2000, and Thomas Heatherwick designed a studio complex finished in spring 2009. The article names no style or materials.

The Great Hall seats 1,250, and the theatre seats 312. There are four galleries, a cinema, studios and artist units. The Great Hall won a RIBA Gold Medal for Architecture in Wales, and the studio complex won a Civic Trust Award. The Great Hall was listed Grade II* in 2024.

It drew about 650,000 visitors a year before the pandemic and reopened in July 2021. The article gives no hours.
