1250 René-Lévesque in Montreal was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates as a project led by IBM and Marathon Realty, with about 250 million dollars invested to consolidate IBM's Montreal operations. Construction ran from 1988 to 1992. The infobox and text describe a postmodern and neo-modern style. It was inspired by KPF's Westend Tower in Frankfurt.
The west facade is granite with square windows and irregular setbacks, facing the residential side. The east facade is a curved glass curtain wall facing the city center. The tower has 47 floors and is 653 feet (199 m) to the roof, or 743 feet (226.5 m) with its spire.
The spire is said to align with the peak elevation of Mount Royal. The text gives the spire as 31 meters, but the infobox's total height implies about 27.5. The tower connects to Bonaventure metro and the Underground City. The article gives no hours.
